okay, the pepsi ads were asking for it. these new snickers ads were just simply crying for it. the new snickers campaign actually makes me NOT want to buy snickers. instead, with words like ‘hungerectomy’, i see ‘erect’ and ‘vasectomy’… which is exactly NOT what i would want to think about while inserting a chocolate bar in my mouth. or maybe the agency is veering in a new direction? a new target audience perhaps?
